Masseter tox (for TMJ)

Service Description

Injections of neurotoxin into the masseter muscle to relax the muscle, relieving jaw tension, jaw pain, nighttime teeth grinding, and TMJ-related headache and ear pain. The cost is $12.50/unit and total cost is based on the total number of units injected. The number of units required for treatment varies based on individual anatomy. Results typically last 3-4 months. Note: You should NOT receive this treatment if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, lactating; have any significant neurologic disease (such as myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, ALS); have an allergy to eggs, albumin, or immunizations such as the flu shot.
